Case Study: Stomach on Fire

Mrs. Karuna, a housewife in her early thirties, came to our center with a lot of hope. Her friend had suggested trying Ayurvedic treatment for the severe pain in her upper abdomen, which she had been suffering for more than three years. Mrs. Karuna had a pain, burning sensation and discomfort right under her rib cage that persisted throughout the day. She also had a lot of belching and bloating that was worse after meals. Her gastroenterologist has diagnosed her with chronic severe gastritis.
